  12. 'Architecture crown'

    Year: 2019
    90x120 cm / 35.5x47.3 inch

For this painting I was inspired by an architectural detail from a door which I have found in London. I wanted to create a dynamic composition using strong brush strokes. What I really like about this painting is the sensation of freedom and hope it gives me because of the colours and the way I painted it.
  13. 'Life in blue'

    Year: 2019
    80x90 cm / 31.5x35.5 inch
    Acrylic on canvas

This is a decorative painting. I wanted to combine flat surfaces with more vibrant ones. For this painting I was inspired by some flowers from my garden.
  14. 'Vision'

    Year: 2019
    100x130 cm
Acrylic and oil pastels on canvas

The inspiration for this painting was a photo I have taken with a piece of wood. I was really intrigued by the structure and the texture of the wood. At first I wanted to paint something realistic, but when I decided to work with pink, red and orange the outcome changed completely. What I really like about this painting is the contrast between the surfaces which are more pictorial and the white and yellow ones where I drew some lines with oil pastels. I feel this kind of contrast gives the artwork more depth.

  15. 'Spider web'

    Year: 2019
    100x130 cm / 39.4x51.2 inch
Acrylic, oil pastels and marker on canvas

For this painting I was inspired by nature. I wanted to combine different plants with insects and create a playful image.
  16. 'Gothic detail'

    Year: 2019
    80x90 cm / 31.5x35.5 inch
    Acrylic on canvas

As the title indicates, this painting was inspired from an old church. I wanted at first to paint the details really realistic, but then I decided to make it look like an old frame with some bright colours in the middle. What I like about this painting are the ‘old’ aspects of the frame in contrast with the rounded shapes.
  17. 'The dream of architecture I'

    Year: 2019
    90x120 cm / 35.5x47.3 inch
    Acrylic on canvas

I wanted to create a decorative image. The inspiration for this painting came from a detail which I have seen in a museum, which was carved on an old piece of rock.
  18. 'Flowers'

    Year: 2019
    80x90 cm / 31.5x35.5 inch
    Acrylic on canvas

For this painting I was inspired by some photos I took at ‘Kew Gardens’ in London. I wanted to combine a realistic element from nature with my imagination and create a playful image.
  19. 'Transformation I'

    Year: 2019
    100x120 cm / 39.4x47.3 inch
    Acrylic on canvas

This paintig is inspired by some old gothic arthitectural details and win- dows. I wanted to create a contrast between the vertical shapes and the abstract ones.
